A large part of BDCHS’s success can be directly attributed to our charter school model. Students receive a quality public school education where they become well-equipped to be critical thinkers, collaborative learners and productive citizens. By providing a focused, high quality education with rigorous curricula, BDCHS equips students for academic achievement and post-secondary success. The partnership with each and every one of our BDCHS families, community supporters and staff makes the difference for not only our students but for the future.
Contributions to our school, a 501-(3)C charitable organization, help provide students a superior education. Funds support improvements to our facility, student assistance program, instructional resources and materials, and equipment for classrooms, athletics, the media center, and the technology labs. All giving directly impacts student learning and allows us to turn “having to do more with less” in today’s education budget from the state to ensuring our students have the quality program they deserve. Your support is critical to our school’s continued success.
Whether it is time or monetary donations, every contribution provides a critical part of the school’s formula for academic success and financial stability.
Other Ways To Support BDCHS
- Volunteer. Brooks DeBartolo is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization committed to serving students. Volunteer opportunities include tutoring, helping in the Media Center or Cafeteria, assisting at a Parent Advisory Council sponsored event and more. Contact our Volunteer Coordinator at firstname.lastname@example.org for information about volunteer opportunities.
- Share your views! Let our elected officials know the value of a quality public charter education such as that of Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate High School.
- Make community connections. We strive to provide our students with opportunities to volunteer and participate in the community. It is also important for our students to be connected to post-secondary educational opportunities and scholarship opportunities.
- Participate in development endeavors. BDCHS has various fundraisers throughout the school year. Charter schools receive less funding than traditional public schools. Fundraising allows BDCHS to purchase critical instructional items such as technology equipment that directly benefit students.
