Welcome to Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate High School.
BDCHS was founded on the belief that given the necessary resources and opportunities, every student has the potential to realize his or her dreams. By providing young people a high quality, challenging education with rigorous and relevant curricula, BDCHS equips students to make valuable and productive contributions to our community.
We are an “A” rated Hillsborough County public charter high school of choice, designed to prepare students for postsecondary success in a small, safe learning environment. To ensure that students are not lost in the crowd and to assure their college readiness, we provide individual guidance, planning and support. Advanced Placement and Dual Enrollment courses offer students the opportunity to take challenging courses and to earn college credits in advance. Some of our students have earned up to 50 credits, entering college two years ahead.
When prospective students and parents visit Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate High School, they feel the sense of community on our campus. We take pride in providing a small, caring environment where students receive a focused and purposeful education and are encouraged to mature both academically and socially. Graduates will tell you that they truly value the preparation they received to successfully reach college-readiness, and particularly that it was in an environment where teachers and administrators cared about them as individuals.
Once again, I welcome you and invite you to learn more about us.
