Parent Advisory Council
In keeping with the mission of Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate High School, the Parent Advisory Council takes an active role in fostering a collaborative relationship among students’ families, teachers and administrators. The PAC partners with the leadership of the school to ensure that BDCHS has an open line of communication with parents and to foster parental support in the areas of active volunteerism and fundraising for BDCHS.
The PAC strives to have its leadership and membership model the diversity of the student body. All parents and guardians of BDCHS are members of the PAC and are eligible to run for a formal position within the PAC.
PAC meetings are calendared and provide parents the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the school, its mission and how parents/guardians can support the school for the ultimate success of all students.

March 2012 – News from the PAC
Phoenix Carnivale, the PAC’s fund raiser, is coming soon! Invitations have been mailed out. If you did not receive one, please contact the school. This is an adult only evening of food, fun and fundraising. The PAC uses the funds raised to help purchase classroom needs, help with student activities, invite guest speakers, and assist with school programs. Last year’s funds purchased the trophy case, funded the guest speaker on preparing for college, The Great American Teach-In, classroom supplies, and helped provide other necessary support for our children’s education.
The Phoenix Carnivale is in need of your help. We will be having a live and silent auction. If you have items to donate for either auction, please contact the PAC. We need gift cards, themed basket items, large and small, sports tickets and memorabilia. Anything will help. We also need baskets, decorative containers for auction items and rolls of cellophane wrap
Please drop off items at the school by March 23.
